Jocelyn Castillo Hernandez ID’d as 2-Year-Old Girl Killed in Jacksonville Pedestrian Crash on North Jackson Street (Highway 69)
Jacksonville, Texas (May 30, 2019) – Authorities have identified Jocelyn Castillo Hernandez as the 2-year-old girl who was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday evening in Jacksonville.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened on North Jackson Street (Highway 69) Saturday, May 25.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Hernandez, a 4-year-old girl, and Miguel Rosas-Garcia, 44, were crossing the roadway when for an unknown reason they were hit by a vehicle.
Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two victims were taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
