Adrian Martinez Killed in San Antonio Bicycle Accident on IH-35

San Antonio, Texas (June 14, 2022) – The cyclist who was killed early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio has been identified as Adrian Martinez, 41, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The deadly accident was reported around 3:00 a.m., June 11, in the 6400 block of the IH-35 access road.

Police said Martinez was on a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle on the access road.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

A passerby noticed Martinez lying on the road and called 911. 

Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
