Woman Dies in Crash Involving Big Rig on Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land

Woman Killed in Sugar Land Two-Vehicle Crash on Southwest Freeway near Grand Parkway

Sugar Land, Texas (February 19, 2020) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Sugar Land, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. in the northbound/inbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway near the Grand Parkway.

Police said the woman was driving a Honda sedan in the center lane when she lost control of her vehicle and was hit by an 18-wheeler.

The woman was killed in the crash.

The crash closed the inbound/northbound lanes of the freeway for about three hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
