Deputy Injured in North Harris County Crash on N Sam Houston Tollway West

Harris County, Texas – A deputy was injured Friday afternoon in a crash involving a trailer in north Harris County, according to the deputies.

The crash occurred in the 1000 block of the N Sam Houston Tollway West.

Deputies said a female Constable Deputy was conducting a traffic stop, when a trailer became unhooked from a tow vehicle, and hit the back of her patrol vehicle.

The deputy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
