53-Year-Old Man Killed in Amarillo Three-Vehicle Crash on East Amarillo Boulevard near Ridgmere Street

Amarillo, Texas (December 25, 2019) – A man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in Amarillo, according to the police.

The crash happened on Tuesday, December 24, on East Amarillo Boulevard near Ridgmere Street.

Police said a semi-truck was making a left turn onto Amarillo Boulevard when it pulled directly into the path of an eastbound Lincoln. The Lincoln struck the rear of the trailer, rotated into the westbound lane and hit a Camaro.

The Lincoln driver, a 53-year-old man, was taken to the hospital where he later died. His name has not been disclosed.

The APD’s Traffic Investigation Squad is conducting the investigation.
