1 Killed and 1 Injured in Midlothian Crash on State Highway 287

Midlothian, Texas (September 10, 2019) – A person was killed and another was injured in a wrong-way crash early Tuesday morning in Midlothian, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred just before 4:00 a.m. on State Highway 287.

According to the officials, a silver SUV was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway when it crashed into an 18 wheeler.

The SUV driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the 18 wheeler was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash closed Highway 287 westbound at Padera Lake.

The crash remains under investigation.
