22-Year-Old Zarchary Hartley Dies in Schertz Motorcycle Crash on I-35

Schertz, Texas (February 19, 2019) – A man was killed in a fatal motorcycle collision with a vehicle in Schertz on Sunday afternoon.
According to a report by the Schertz police, the incident occurred at about 2:06 p.m. February 17 on Interstate 35 North near FM 2252.
Police said Zarchary Schertz, 22, was riding a motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle. The impact ejected Hartley from his motorcycle and threw him into the median.
Hartley was not wearing a helmet and was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
There were no other injuries reported from the incident.
The Schertz Police Department is investigating the accident.
