Student Injured in School Bus Accident on U.S. 70 in Farwell

One Student Injured in Farwell Bus Crash on U.S. 70

Farwell, Texas (April 4, 2023) – A student was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon near Farwell, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The wreck occurred at around 3:45 p.m. on U.S. 70 about four miles east of Farwell.

DPS said seven vehicles, including a school bus, were involved in the crash.

Twenty students were onboard the bus. One of them suffered only minor injuries.

Authorities believed “zero visibility” caused the crash. The highway was blocked following the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
