Miriam Mazhindu Killed in Richardson Two-Vehicle Crash on Central Expressway

Richardson, Texas – A woman was killed Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Richardson, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:00 p.m., December 6, in the 3800 block of N. Central Expressway.

Police said a Toyota Sequoia was heading northbound when it changed lanes and rear-ended a Nissan Versa in the left lane.

The Nissan driver, 74-year-old Miriam Mazhindu, of Dallas, Texas, was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The Toyota driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation. The Richardson Police Department’s Special Crash Investigation Team is encouraging anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them at 972-744-4944.
