Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Box Truck on Interstate 30 in Garland

Rider Killed in Garland Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 30 near Bobtown Road Monday evening

Garland, Texas (April 20, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a box truck Monday evening in Garland, according to a local news source.

The deadly crash happened at about 6:00 p.m. on April 18 on Interstate 30 near Bobtown Road.

As per the report, the box truck collided with the motorcyclist on the eastbound side of the interstate.

The motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital, where they were declared dead. The name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

No other injuries were reported.

A section of Interstate 30 was blocked for several hours as the investigation and clean-up took place.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
