Man Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Airport Boulevard near Oak Springs Drive

Austin, Texas (January 9, 2020) – A man in his 60s was struck and killed by two vehicles Wednesday night in East Austin, according to a local news source.

The accident happened around 7:00 p.m. January 8, in the 1100 block of Airport Boulevard, just south of the Oak Springs Drive.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a vehicle. He was then hit by another vehicle.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

An investigation is underway.
