Minor Injuries Reported in Merkel Five-Vehicle Crash

Merkel, Texas – Minor injuries were reported Sunday morning following a five-vehicle crash in Merkel, according to the police.

The crash happened around 9:13 a.m., March 17.

Police said a vehicle was traveling eastbound when it lost control, went into the westbound lanes, and crashed into four other vehicles, including a semi-truck.

Minor injuries were reported in the crash.

Speed was a factor in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
