Man Killed after 18-Wheeler, SUV Collide on NW Parkway in Azle

37-Year-Old Man Killed in Azle Crash on NW Parkway (199) near Russell Feed Store

Azle, Texas (October 20, 2022) – A man was killed in a traffic crash in Azle on Thursday morning, according to the Azle Police Department.

The deadly crash happened at about 8:00 a.m. in the 1300 block of NW Parkway (199) near the Russell Feed Store.

Azle police said an SUV and an 18-wheeler were involved in the crash.

The 37-year-old driver of the SUV was taken to a nearby Texas Health Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

Police temporarily blocked all lanes of NW Parkway during the investigation.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
