One Killed in NW Houston Hit-and-Run Crash on Spindle Road

Houston, Texas (October 7, 2023) – One person was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run crash in northwest Houston, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened just before 9:00 p.m., October 5, in the 6800 block of Spindle Road.

Deputies said a person was hit by a vehicle, which fled the scene after the crash.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where they later died. Their identity has not been released.

The area where the victim was struck has few streetlights and is very dark.

The Harris County deputies are investigating the crash.
