91-Year-Old Man, 83-Year-Old Woman Killed in Dallas Car Accident on Highway 144 between Granbury and Glen Rose

Dallas, Texas (June 5, 2019) – Two people were killed Friday in a traffic accident in Dallas, authorities said.

The tragic crash happened on Highway 144 between Granbury and Glen Rose Sunday, May 31.

Authorities said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason on Highway 144.

An 83-year-old woman was airlifted to JPS Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her husband, a 91-year-old man, died at JPS Hospital on Sunday, June 2.

No other details were immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
