Kaleb Harvey Killed in ATV Crash at Texas 87 and CR 3110 in Newton County

Newton County, Texas – A 21-year-old Nederland man was killed early Wednesday morning in an ATV crash in Newton County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 3:34 a.m., April 17, at the intersection of Texas 87 and County Road 3110.

DPS said a Kawasaki ATV was traveling northbound while a Nissan Versa was traveling southbound. The ATV was traveling in the oncoming lane and was struck by the Nissan.

The ATV driver, Kaleb Harvey, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Nissan driver, 51-year-old James Pennington of Newton, was uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
