Girl Injured in Midland Electric Skateboard Crash on Magellan Street at Mockingbird Lane

Midland, Texas (January 2, 2023) – A girl was injured on New Year’s Day in a crash involving an electric skateboard in Midland, according to the authorities.

The crash was reported around 6:29 p.m., January 1, in the 5500 block of Magellan Street at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane.

Authorities said the girl was crossing the intersection in her electric skateboard when she was struck by a vehicle that was heading westbound on Mockingbird Lane.

The girl was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver remained at the scene after the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
