Motorcyclist Critically Injured in DWI Crash on Hansford Street in San Antonio

66-Year-Old Critically Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash on Hansford Street

San Antonio, Texas (June 25, 2022) – According to the police, a 66-year-old was critically injured Friday night after being hit by a suspected drunk driver in San Antonio’s South Side.

The crash happened around 10:45 p.m., on June 24, in the 200 block of Hansford Street.

Police said a Nissan was traveling eastbound when it crossed into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into the 66-year-old motorcyclist who was heading westbound.

The motorcyclist was critically injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

The Nissan driver stayed at the scene and appeared to have been intoxicated. He was evaluated and arrested for driving while intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
