Man Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash at Highway 35 and West Gile Avenue in Aransas Pass

40-Year-Old Man Killed in Aransas Pass Crash at Highway 35 and West Gile Avenue

Aransas Pass, Texas (April 13, 2023) – A 40-year-old Aransas Pass man was killed in a traffic crash on Tuesday evening in Aransas Pass, according to the Aransas Pass Police Department.

The deadly happened at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at the intersection of Highway 35 and West Gile Avenue.

Aransas Pass police said a vehicle, driven by the 40-year-old Aransas Pass man, had stopped to make a left turn when e was rear-ended by another vehicle. The impact pushed the man’s vehicle into an oncoming vehicle.

The man sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

All the parties involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Alcohol and drugs were not considered a factor at this time.

The crash remains under investigation.
