One Injured in Idalou Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 62

Idalou, Texas (September 18, 2019) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning near Idalou, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported around 4:00 a.m. on U.S. Highway 62.

According to the DPS, a pickup truck was heading westbound on the highway when it struck a semi-truck.

The pickup driver was taken to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The semi driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed parts of U.S. Highway 62.

The crash remains under investigation.
