Oscar Ortiz Killed, Carlos Gonzalez Hospitalized after Odessa Two-Vehicle Crash at Interstate 20 and Loop 338
Odessa, Texas (February 14, 2019) – One person was killed, and another was injured Wednesday morning in a head-on collision in Odessa, according to the authorities.
The fatal crash occurred on Wednesday, February 13, in the area of Interstate 20 and Loop 338.
Police said a northbound Dodge Ram collided head-on with a southbound Kia Forte for unknown reasons.
The Kia driver, Oscar Brito Ortiz, was declared dead at the scene. The Dodge driver, Carlos Gonzalez, was taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
