One Killed, Thao N Le and Bishnu Kumar Paudel Injured in Tom Green County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 277

Tom Green County, Texas (January 8, 2021) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a head-on collision Thursday evening in Tom Green County, eight miles north of San Angelo, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on January 7, on US Hwy 277.

DPS said a 2018 Toyota RAV 4 driven by Thao N Le, 45, was heading northbound on the highway when it attempted to pass an 18-wheeler and crashed head-on into a southbound 2013 Ford Escape, driven by Bishnu Kumar Paudel, 49.

Lee and Paudel were taken to Shannon Medical Center with incapacitating injuries.

Paudel’s passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
