John Hartman Hit, Killed by Car on West Houston Harte Expressway in San Angelo

John Hartman Killed in San Angelo Pedestrian Accident on West Houston Harte Expressway 

San Angelo, Texas (December 11, 2020) – A transient man was killed in a pedestrian accident Thursday morning in San Angelo, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 5:30 a.m., December 10, in the 4000 block of West Houston Harte Expressway Frontage Road near Woodsprings Suites.

According to a preliminary investigation, John Hartman, 31, of Hawley, was walking in the roadway when he was hit by a Nissan Maxima that was traveling eastbound on the frontage road.  

Hartman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Maxima driver, a 30-year-old San Angelo woman, was uninjured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
