One Hospitalized after Corpus Christi Crash on Holly Road and Staples

Corpus Christi, Texas (July 14, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday morning in Corpus Christi, police said.

The incident took place at about 7:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, on Holly Road and Staples.

Police said a sedan was heading east on Holly Road when the driver ran a red light and collided with an 18-wheeler that was northbound on Staples.

The driver of the sedan sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The CCPD is investigating the crash.
