1 Injured in Crash on Knickerbocker Road in San Angelo

One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on Knickerbocker Road at Loop 306

San Angelo, Texas (July 29, 2023) – One person was injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash happened on July 28, at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Loop 306.

Police said a silver Chevrolet Impala was traveling northbound on Knickerbocker when it attempted to make a left turn onto the access road of Loop 306 and failed to yield to oncoming traffic. An oncoming Hyundai Santa Fe collided with the Impala at the intersection. The collision sent both vehicles over a curb.

The Hyundai driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The Impala driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way while turning left.

The crash remains under investigation.
