4 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Bell and Hughes Streets in San Angelo

Four Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at North Bell Street and Hughes Street

San Angelo, Texas (October 25, 2023) – Four people were injured on Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on October 24, at the intersection of North Bell Street and Hughes Street.

According to the report, a red Toyota RAV4 was traveling eastbound on Hughes Street when it attempted to take a right turn at a red light. The driver did not see a red Chevy Tahoe, which was traveling northbound on Bell Street and was attempting to make a left turn. The Toyota pulled out in front of the Tahoe, resulting in a collision.

Three people in the Tahoe and one person in the Toyota were taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Toyota driver was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.

The crash remains under investigation.
