Houston, Texas – One person was injured early Saturday morning in an officer-involved crash in Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The crash happened in the area of South Victory and N. Shepherd Road near the Acres Home area.

Police an HPD officer was responding to a robbery in progress call and was heading southbound on Shepherd while another driver was heading westbound on Victory. The vehicles collided at the intersection.

The second vehicle rolled over after the crash.

The HPD officer was uninjured in the crash.

The other driver sustained minor injuries and some shoulder soreness. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

The police are investigating the crash.
