Five Hospitalized after San Antonio Car Accident on Pleasanton Road

San Antonio, Texas (June 3, 2019) – Five people were injured Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to the deputies.

The crash took place around 8:50 a.m. June 2, in the 24000 block of Pleasanton Road.

Officials said a man in his late 20s was driving on the roadway while a vehicle carrying a family of four was also traveling on the same road. One of the cars crossed the line, causing the two vehicles to collide.

Firefighters responded to the scene and had to extricate four people who were trapped in the vehicle.

All five victims were taken to the hospital. One of the victims had to be airlifted.

Officials said the man will be facing Intoxication Assault charges.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
