Two Injured in Poetry Motorcycle Accident on FM 986 near FM 1565

Poetry, Texas (July 11, 2020) – Two people were injured Friday morning in a motorcycle accident in Poetry, north of Terrell, according to DPS.

The crash occurred around 10:55 a.m. July 10, on FM 986, near FM 1565.

DPS said a motorcycle was rear-ended by a white Chevy Equinox in the southbound lane of the highway.

The motorcyclist and the Equinox driver were taken to Baylor Medical Center of Dallas with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
