1 Killed, 1 Injured in 3-Car Accident at Holly and Everhart Road in Corpus Christi

One Man Dead, Another Hospitalized after Corpus Christi Crash at Holly and Everhart Road
Corpus Christi, Texas (April 8, 2019) – A man was killed and another was hospitalized early Sunday morning in a car accident in Corpus Christi South Side, police said.
The deadly crash took place at about 3:00 a.m. Sunday, April 7 near the intersection of Holly and Everhart Road.
According to the police, a car failed to stop at a stop sign and slammed into another vehicle near the intersection. The car then spun out of control after the impact and struck a third vehicle.
A man believed to be in his 20s was ejected from his car. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police said another man in his 40s was also taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
The identities of the victims have not been yet released.
According to Investigators, failure to give the right of way, alcohol and speed possibly caused the collision.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
