One Killed, One Hospitalized after Round Rock Crash at AW Grimes Boulevard and Louis Henna Boulevard

Round Rock, Texas (August 30, 2022) – One person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle collision Monday morning in Round Rock, according to the Round Rock Police Department.

The deadly crash happened shortly after 10:15 a.m. Monday, August 29 at the intersection of A.W. Grimes Boulevard and eastbound Louis Henna Boulevard.

Round Rock police said the crash involved a van and a sedan.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene while another person was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection of A.W. Grimes Boulevard and eastbound Louis Henna Boulevard was closed following the wreck, but as of 1:00 p.m., the lanes were reopened back to traffic.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
