1 Killed, 1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on N Capital of TX Highway in NW Austin

One Killed and One Injured in NW Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on N Capital of TX Highway at Champion Grandview Way

Austin, Texas – One person was killed and another was injured Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Austin, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened around 9:35 p.m., March 22, in the 6400 block of N Capital of TX Highway at Champion Grandview Way.

Officials said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was pinned in their vehicle and had to be rescued. EMS performed CPR on the person but unfortunately, the adult was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Another person was taken to St. David’s South with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
