1 Killed, 2 Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash at Preston and Rolater Roads in Frisco

One Killed and Two Injured in Frisco Three-Vehicle Accident at Preston and Rolater Roads

Frisco, Texas (November 1, 2020) – One person was killed, and two others were injured in a hit-and-run crash Saturday morning in Frisco, according to police.

The deadly crash happened at about 12:15 a.m., October 31, at the intersection of Preston and Rolater Roads.  

Police said a Ford pickup truck ran a red light at the intersection and struck a black BMW sedan and a silver Kia SUV.  

The Ford driver fled the scene after the crash.

The impact ejected a backseat passenger in the Kia. The victim was taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The Kia driver and the BMW driver sustained injuries in the crash and are expected to be okay.

Frisco police are looking for the Ford driver. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to call them at 972-292-6010. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411 or by using the Frisco PD app.
