1 Dies in Montgomery County Crash on State Highway 249 near Woodtrace Boulevard

 Montgomery County, Texas (August 16, 2019) – A person was killed Thursday afternoon in a traffic crash in Montgomery County, a local news source reported.

The deadly accident, which was reported at around 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, happened on State Highway 249 near Woodtrace Boulevard.

As per the report, at least three vehicles were involved in the crash. Due to the impact, one of the vehicles was split in half.

A man in his 50s was killed in the wreck. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
