Man Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident on U.S. Highway 90

Houston, Texas (October 16, 2023) – A motorcyclist died following a Sunday morning hit-and-run accident in Houston, police said.

The deadly crash happened at about 10:40 a.m. Sunday, October 15 on U.S. Highway 90.

According to the police, a 33-year-old man was riding an orange Suzuki GSXR motorcycle on U.S. Highway 90 when he was possibly struck by another vehicle.

Due to the force of the collision impact, the man lost control and crashed. He was then thrown over a bridge overpass before landing in the 300 block of North Holmes Road.

The man, whose name is being withheld pending family notification, was declared dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Currently, there is no known description of the vehicle that possibly hit the motorcyclist.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information or who witnessed the collision is asked to call the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4072 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
