One Killed in Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash at TC Jester and Gears Road

Harris County, Texas (June 27, 2019) – One person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at a Harris County intersection, according to a local news release.

The fatal crash took place just before 4:30 p.m. June 26, in the area of TC Jester and Gears Road.

Deputies said a man was driving a silver Mustang when he ignored a stop sign at the intersection and began crossing Gears Road when he was hit by a CenterPoint utility truck.

The impact caused the Mustang to catch fire.

The Mustang driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed.

The crash remains under investigation.
