1 Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 6 in Robertson County

One Killed, Several Injured in Robertson County Crash on Highway 6 near Lakeside Grocery and Sadberry Road

Robertson County, Texas (June 13, 2022) – One person was killed and several other people were injured in a crash between an SUV and a pickup truck Saturday night in Robertson County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly collision took place on Highway 6 near Lakeside Grocery and Sadberry Road on June 11.

DPS said a sports utility vehicle and a pickup truck collided on the highway under unclear circumstances. The impact caused the pickup truck to overturn.

One person died as a result of the crash. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

A medical helicopter was requested to the crash site to help the injured parties. The number of the patients and the extent of their injuries were not available.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation is underway.
