1 Killed in DWI Crash on I-35 in Dallas

One Killed in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 near Mockingbird Lane

Dallas, Texas (February 11, 2023) – One person was killed early Friday morning in a traffic accident involving an intoxicated driver in Dallas, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened just after 3:00 a.m., February 10, in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35E near Mockingbird Lane.

Deputies said the crash involved a Nissan Xterra and a Ford F-250.

The Xterra driver was taken to a local hospital, where they later died. Their identity has not been released.

The Ford driver was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. They are facing a charge of intoxication manslaughter.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of the interstate until 5:41 a.m.
