Deputy Injured in DUI Crash on Crosby Freeway Feeder in Harris County

Deputy Injured in Harris County Three-Vehicle Crash on Crosby Freeway Feeder near Beltway 8

Harris County, Texas (February 23, 2020) – A Harris County deputy was injured early Sunday morning in a crash involving a suspected drunk driver in Harris County, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred around 3:00 a.m. in the 14100 block of the Crosby Freeway feeder near Beltway 8.

Deputies said the deputy was parked at a light when a truck crashed into another car, pushing it into his cruiser.

The deputy sustained neck and back injuries. He is expected to be okay.

The truck driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The crash remains under investigation.
