One Killed in Buda Crash on Interstate 35 near FM 2001

Buda, Texas (September 15, 2023) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Buda early Friday morning, according to Buda police.

The deadly crash happened at about 4:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 near FM 2001.

Buda police said the crash involved four vehicles, including a semi-truck.  One of the vehicles was driving in the wrong direction before the collision.

One person died as a result of the crash.

Police closed all northbound lanes for several hours during the investigation. As of 8:30 a.m., the roadway was reopened.

No further details were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
