Multiple Seriously Injured in Lubbock Crash at South Loop 289 and University Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (May 1, 2023) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in a Lubbock intersection, according to the Lubbock Police Department.

The crash happened just before 4:30 Sunday, April 30, at the intersection of South Loop 289 and University Avenue.

Lubbock police said several vehicles were involved in the crash.

Multiple people sustained serious injuries in the crash.

No other details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
