Rahamath Mohammed Killed in Head-On Collision on Highway 90 in Madisonville

Rahamath Mohammed ID’d as Driver Killed in Madisonville Crash Highway 90

Madisonville, Texas (July 18, 2023) – Police have identified the driver who died on Friday night following a head-on crash on a highway in Madisonville as Rahamath Mohammed, 31, of Houston.

The deadly crash happened on Friday,June 14 in the 1100 block of Highway 90.

Police said a black 2008 Lexus, driven by Mohammed, crossed the double yellow lines and entered the southbound lanes, where it collided head-on with a 2020 Nissan Amada.

Due to the impact, the Lexus spun around and went into a ditch.
Mohammed died in the crash.

Three occupants of the Nissan were transported to a hospital. Two adults victims were taken by ambulance while a 7-year-old child was airlifted. Their condition at this time is unknown.

The crash remains under investigation.
