Pedestrian Dies in Houston Accident on South Loop at South Main

Houston, Texas (November 15, 2023) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Houston.

The deadly auto-pedestrian accident happened at around 4 a.m. on 610 South Loop at South Main.

A car was reported to have hit a pedestrian in the area in unclear circumstances.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the crash site.

The identity of the pedestrian was upheld pending notification of the next of kin.

South Loop at South Main was closed, but later reopened at around 6:57 a.m.

An investigation is ongoing.
