1 Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Westlake Drive in Austin

Austin, Texas – A person was killed Wednesday afternoon in a pedestrian accident in Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The deadly accident happened around 12:12 p.m., April 24, in the 3000 block of Westlake Drive, near Trailview Mesa Drive.

Officials said a person was pronounced dead at the scene after being involved in a crash with heavy machinery. The identity of the victim has not been released.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
