One Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on North Freeway
Houston, Texas (May 9, 2019) – A 1-year-old girl was killed Sunday afternoon in a traffic collision in Houston, according to the authorities.
The crash happened just after 2:00 p.m. May 5, in the 11500 block of North Freeway.
Authorities said a woman was driving a blue Honda CR-V northbound when she suffered a medical episode, lost control of her car, crossed over several lanes of traffic and crashed into a tan Toyota Prius. The Prius was disabled and parked along the right shoulder of the freeway.
The girl, who was in the rear of the Toyota, was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
