2 Border Patrol Agents Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at 7th Street and Oblate Street in Mission

Two Border Patrol Agents Hospitalized after Mission Crash at 7th Street and Oblate Street

Mission, Texas (July 6, 2019) – Two Border Patrol agents were injured Thursday morning in a traffic accident in Mission, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred at about 10:20 a.m. Thursday, July 5 at the intersection of 7th Street and Oblate Street.

According to authorities, the agents assigned to the McAllen Station were responding to an alleged human smuggling event when their marked units collided at the Mission intersection.

Both agents sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by the Mission Police Department.
