The crash happened around 3:00 a.m., at the intersection of Clay Road and Queenston Boulevard.

Deputies said the officers were headed to a pursuit call when they crashed into a Ford F-150 that was making a left turn at the intersection.

The impact pushed the Ford into a nearby field.

Both deputies were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The Ford driver and two passengers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators said intoxication was not a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons for driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
