2 Firefighters Injured in Crash on Airline Drive in Houston

Two Firefighters Hospitalized after Houston Crash on Airline Drive and Parker Road

Houston, Texas (March 21, 2023) – Two firefighters were hospitalized after a Monday morning crash in Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The crash happened just after 3 a.m. on Airline Drive and Parker Road.

Police said an ambulance was traveling southbound and was returning to the station when it was T-boned at the intersection by a Chevy Avalanche, which fled the scene.

The firefighters told authorities they had a green light at the time of the accident.

The firefighters in the ambulance were transported to the hospital, where they were listed in stable.

Police are searching for an Avalanche with heavy front-end damage. Anyone with information or who witnessed the crash to call HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division at 713-247-4072.
