Two Hospitalized after Orange Car Crash on Dupont Drive

Orange, Texas (July 1, 2019) – Two people were injured Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Orange, according to a local news release.

The crash happened just after 6:00 a.m. June 30, in the 2100 block of Dupont Drive.

Officials said the head-on collision involved an Orange County correctional officer.

Two people were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life.

The two people were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The crash closed the roadway for about an hour.

An investigation is underway.
