Two Injured in San Antonio Helicopter Crash near East Southcross and South Presa Street

San Antonio, Texas (December 15, 2019) – Two people were injured in a helicopter crash on Saturday in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened on Saturday, December 14, off the intersection of East Southcross and South Presa Street.

Police said the Robinson R-44 helicopter, which belongs to Alamo Helicopter Tours San Antonio, hit utility lines on the way down, and CPS Energy had a crew checking on the line. 

The flight was going smoothly until the pilot heard and felt a bang and the pilot lost control, and the helicopter crashed.

Two people were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

An investigation is underway.
